- Luther wrestled long and deep. He felt unworthy, unloved, distant from God, and could not grasp how or why God could or would include him. It was the constant encouragement of his monastery mentor, Dr. Staupitz, who guided Luther to God's grace.
- We invite you not to a monastery, but to a short but intense four day experience. Via de Cristo is the Lutheran word and form of the Roman Catholic "cursillo". Since the 1940s in Spain cursillo has swept the world, been used in a different name in nearly every tradition, and is an intense experience of God's grace.
