Dwelling in the Word

Dwelling in the Word is a process our Evangelical Lutheran Church is encouraging as a means to center ourselves on God and to learn a practice of listening to God. It is of great value to do ndividual and collectively and to seek God's mission for ourselves and for our congregation.
There are a variety of sources to guide us in this:
  • ELCA explanation of the process
  • Church Innovations.
  • Dr. David Lose's explanation
Another name for it is Lectio Divina
  • Bible Gateway's explanation = The BibleGateway App has smore than 200 versions in more than 70 languages
  • There is a Lectio Divina homepage
  • Wikipedia has an explanation
